Properties

Alloy 347 and 347H fittings and flanges both alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment but it becomes hard by doing a cold working process. It can easily be welded and has low ductility and is easy to form. Alloy 347h stainless steel has higher carbon content and it is an updated version of 347 alloys. It has excellent creep strength at 1000 degrees F and has a high strength too.

Alloy 347 stainless fittings and flanges exhibit good general corrosion resistance that is comparable to 304.  The alloy has good oxidation resistance and creep strength to 1500°F (816°C). It also possesses good low temperature toughness.

Specification of Flange 

 The specified ASTM Standard Specification for Wrought Austenitic SS 347 Flanges is ASTM A182 with manufacturing standard such as ANSI/ASME B16.5, B16.48, BS4504, B 16.47 Series A & B, BS 10, EN-1092, DIN, etc.
