Properties
The composition of copper and molybdenum in Alloy 20 Round Bar make it resistant to reducing environments also Molybdenum makes it resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The chromium content makes it resistant in oxidized environments just like nitric acid. Carpenter 20 steel is best resistant with superior mechanical properties and relatively easy fabrication.

Incoloy 20 was designed to make it maximum resistant to acid attack and demonstrates superior resistance to cracking due to stress-corrosion in boiling 20% to 40% sulfuric acid and also has superior general corrosion resistance to chloride stress and sulfuric acid corrosion cracking.

Specification
The Specification for Alloy 20 Round Bar as per astm Standard is ASTM B 473/ASME SB-473, the arelloo categorised into different form and shape such as Alloy 20 Round Bar, Rod, Channel Bar, T-Bar, Flat Bar, Blocks, Square, bar, Triangle, Threaded, Hex (A/F), Profiles, Half Ingot, Billet, I/H Bar, etc. These are available at any Alloy 20 round bar supplier.
When considering wrought stainless round bars, material shall be furnished in the following way such as Hot-worked, Hot-worked and Annealed, Hot-worked- Annealed and cold worked or Hot-worked-Annealed and heat treated.
