Alloy 28 fittings and Alloy 28 flanges are nickel-iron-chromium-based alloys with additions of molybdenum and copper which has an incredible resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids to the local corrosive environment.
These flanges are excellent resistant to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localize attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The Sanrico 28 alloy is especially resistant to sulphuric and phosphoric acid.
