Copper Nickel 70/30 Sheets and Plates
Cupro Nickel 70/30 Sheet and Cupro Nickel 70/30 Plate is a copper and nickel alloy with additions of iron and manganese. These elemental additions make it even more resistant to corrosion and erosion and with slightly improved strength level than alloy 90/10, making it suitable for more demanding applications.

Cupro Nickel 70/30 exhibits superb resistance to attacks from steam, boiler feed-water and freshwater. Cu-Ni 70/30 Sheet and Plates or UNS C71500 can withstand attacks from sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and also from mild organic acids.

The Cu-Ni 70/30 Plate and sheet or UNS C71500 specified by ASTM standard as ASTM B 171 or ASME SB-171 are readily available in different types such as, for example, Cu-Ni 70/30 Plane sheet and Plate, Shim, Thin, Perforated, Polished, Diamond, Chequered, Hot rolled, Cold rolled, Annealed, Soft annealed , coils, clad plate, strip etc.
As per availability and requirement Alloy 70/30 Sheets and Plate can be manufactured in different types burt, also they also has different types of finishing on surface such as for example, Brushed ,Polished t, Mirror finish, Mirror polished, Hot rolled(HR), Cold rolled (CR), 2B,2D, BA NO(8), SATIN(Met with Plastic coated).
Application
Copper Nickel 70/30 Alloy sheet and plate has a long and successful history in the marine sector that has since extended to industries including offshore oil and gas, power generation, desalination and cooling plants.
The alloy is also used for seawater service, submarine, offshore fire water systems, heat exchangers, condensers, and areas where high corrosion resistance is required and concern over chloride stress-corrosion cracking prevents the use of stainless steels.
